The littlest bit of change the slightest bit of try. -Ray Hunt

Lynn Brown has over 30 years of experience in training/riding/showing horses. She was raised on a ranch in Wyoming. She started her career training show horses in western pleasure, cutting and reining. She was a breakaway roper and team roper before becoming involved in barrel racing. She currently trains barrel futurity horses and Pro Rodeos. Lynn is a PRCA Gold cardholder and WPRA member.

She currently trains a limited number of futurity colts and hauls some older horses to the pro rodeos for seasoning.

Her mare RB NoteDue (foaled 1990) is turned out in the retirement pasture. Cranky, healthy, happy and sound! She retired her at 22 years of age. "Note" took her to the Circuit Finals 4 years and Dodge National Circuit Finals.

RB Rosy, "LoisK,” a grey mare (passed in 2015) qualified her for the Circuit Finals 2 years and in 2005 she "swept" her circuit finals winning every go-around and the average. She also qualified her for Dodge National Circuit Finals. Both horses were raised and trained by Lynn and her family.

Lynn makes her home in Weatherford TX (Since February 2008). She enjoys mentoring and coaching others in barrel racing and team roping, reading and leisure travel to exotic locations.

RB NoteDue, aka "Note" was raised by Lynn's family in Wyoming. She was "claimed" by her son J.D., even though she was owned by the ranch, when she was a yearling (Born 1990). She was taken to the track as a two year old and sent home because "she can't run." (She has an official 72 SI). Lynn rode her and started her on barrels and roping as a 3 year old and taught riding lessons on her as a 4 and 5 year old. She was taken to 2 futurities her 5 year old year but didn't win any money. J.D. got an offer to sell her and priced her "out of the market" then told the people that "she'll probably make Mom a good barrel horse." J.D. has only roped on her a couple of times but since he already had a horse decided that if needed he could use her as a backup horse. So "Note" is really J.D's mare, Lynn just rides her! Note's breeding is Razas Rocket x Credit Past Due by My Leroy Brown

RB Rosy, aka "LoisK" was also raised by Lynn's family. Her family bred her dam (Souped Up Rosy) to Dash Ta Fame in 1994 for a colt the next year. Her dam lost the colt so she was taken back to be rebred the next year. LoisK was born in March 1996 but low and behold, it doesn't happen often, after LoisK was born she and another colt decided they didn't like their current mothers and "switched". When LoisK was registered and "parentage verified" it didn't match. It became quite a fiasco to register her. Lynn's mother died the same year LoisK was born but did get to see the baby she had worked so hard to have by Dash Ta Fame. Lynn's mother's name is Lois and she has the same middle initial as Lynn - so they decided to call her LoisK after her mother. LoisK went to the track and has an official 81 SI. Lynn got her from the ranch her 3 year old year and heeled on her for 2 years and waited to run her in the futurities until she was 5. She placed and made the short go at all three futurities. LoisK's breeding is Dash Ta Fame by First Down Dash x Souped Up Rosy by Clipper Flight by Easy Jet
